Abstract
In this paper, the authors describe about the effect of l_<CB> variation on the propulsive performance of a modern G.T. 500 tons type trawler hull form with bulbous bow. Resistance and self-propulsion tests and wake survey of three model ships were carried out. The results of these model tests show that the optimum location of longitudinal centre of buoyancy in the propulsive performance point is about 0.2〜1.0% LPP aftward from midship.
