Abstract
Insect pests invading in a factory on buffer materials were surveyed in the Tokai district in the Summer of 1988. The main pest sweeped in the factory was the red flour beetle, Tribolinm castaneum H. It was easily collected by pheromon traps. The beetles dispersed quickly over the factory on the materials, and survived for a long time without any food. The infestation of this species is a serious problem in the factories by the reason why it has more easily access to the process lines than other pests.
