地域SNSのユーザー同士のつながり方に着目したネットワーク分析  [in Japanese] Network Analyses on Region-based SNSs by Focusing on User Connections  [in Japanese]

本論文では、特定の地域でface-to-faceの関係を前提とした地域SNSを分析対象として、2時点間のデータを用いることで、友人関係にどのような傾向があるかについて考察する。具体的には、第1に、友人ネットワークのコンポーネントに着目した分析を行う。2時点間の比較を行うことで、コンポーネントの成長過程のあり方を分析する。第2に、友人関係の形成の傾向を分析する。全ユーザーを対象とした分析と新規登録者に着目した分析をそれぞれ行う。これらの分析の結果、第1のコンポーネント単位での分析では、先行研究が示すような特徴は特に確認できなかった。他方で、第2の友人関係の形成の傾向についての分析では、友人数が多いユーザーほど友人の少ないユーザーとつながる傾向があること、そして、新規登録したユーザーはSNS内の友人数が上位ユーザーとつながる可能性が高いことが示された。

The paper conducts network analyses on four regional Social Networking Services (SNSs) based on face-to-face relationships in certain geographical regions. The authors analyze tendencies of friend-relations based on two chronological points data. Firstly, we focus on components of friend-network. Growing process of the components is analyzed by comparing two different periods. Secondly, we focus on tendency how to form friend-relations. The paper analyzes tendencies based on whole users and newcomers separately. We could not find any particular results for the component-related analyses. On the other hand, the second analyses show that users with large number of friends tend to connect with users with small number of friends and that newcomer users are likely to connect with users who have largest number of friends within the SNS.
