SID2009全体概要(SID'09報告会)  [in Japanese] Summary of SID2009  [in Japanese]

テキサス州、サンアントニオにてSID2009がシンポジウムと展示会を中心に、5月31日から6月5日にかけて6日間に渡り開催された。ショートコース、ビジネスコンファレンス、ディスプレイ技術セミナー、アプリケーションチュートリアル、インベスターズコンファレンス、といった多数の行事が併設して行われた。今回は、経済状況や新型インフルエンザの影響等により参加者数が前年比約半分の4000人弱となったが、シンポジウムでは約270件のオーラル発表と約190件のポスター発表が採択され、活発な議論が交わされた。

In SID2009 various events such as Symposium, Exhibition, Short Courses, Business Conference, Display Technology Seminars, etc., were held from May 31 through June 5 at San Antonio, Texas. Total number of attendance was about 3600, which was about half in comparison with that of the last year. In the symposium, 270 of oral presentations and 190 of poster presentations ware reported and actively discussed.
