Recntly, it is popular the wind turbines are installed in the wind farm. The distance between two turbines are set enough length to avoid the fluid dynamic interference. When the wind turbine operates in the wake of the upstream turbine, the turbine produces less power than that in the free stream. Furthermore the wind turbine in the wake will have more large fluctuation of the aerodynamic force caused by the non-uniform flow of the wake. Therefore, understanding of the wind speed profile in the wake is important to optimize the arrangement of wind turbines in wind farm. This paper shows the experimental results of the wind speed profile, the power performance and aerodynamic load of wind turbine in wake. The experiments are carried out in the large wind tunnel with two test wind turbines. The results presented in this paper comprise the turbine performance, the blade bending moment and tower tilt moment in wake 3D and 5D, 7D, 10D distance behind the rotor.
