Guide to Prevention of Oil Spillage from Ships

The following is an abstruct of the guide edited by the Society's Research Committee. Readers are kindly requested to note that the detailed items of the guidance contained herein have no direct connection with those provisions laid down in the relevant International Conventions, Laws, Regulations and Classification Rules, but they are intended to assist ship designers, shipbuilders and ship operators in observing the necessary and effective measures for the prevention of oil spillage accidents.
