学術情報ネットワーク(SINET3)は、日本全国の大学や研究機関等における学術研究並びに教育活動を支える学術情報基盤として、国立情報学研究所(NII)が構築、運用している情報通信ネットワークである。本講演では、情報通信ネットワークの学術情報基盤として安定した通信接続サービスを実現するための、SINET3の高信頼化に向けてのネットワーク構成及びに運用について概説するものである。

The Science Information Network (SINET3) is an information and communication network infrastructure connecting universities and research institutions of Japan to promote research and education. SINET3 is constructed and operated by the National Institute of Informatics (NII). This paper briefly describe reliable network structure and operation for stable communication services as the information and communication network infrastructure.
