Abstract
第29回IDRC(Euro Display2009)が2009年9月15〜17日の期間、ローマで開催され、欧州を中心として約150件の講演発表(招待講演を含む)が行われた。有機EL関連の発表件数は全体の約15%であり、デバイス物理、ディスプレイテクノロジー、フレキシブル・ディスプレイなどのセッションにおいて活発な議論が行われた。本稿では、会議の全体動向、発表論文数の内訳を示すと共に、有機EL技術の最近の技術動向を踏まえて、(a)作製プロセス技術、(b)デバイス物理、(c)フレキシブル化技術の3分野に分けて、特に注目された発表論文を抜粋し、その研究発表の概要を報告する。
The 29th International Display Research Conference (Euro Display 2009) was held in Rome, Italia during Sept. 15-17, 2009. About 150 papers were presented in three day conference, and organic light emitting diodes (OLEDs) related papers were approximately 15% among all contributed papers. Participants actively discussed in the sessions of OLED Devices, Display Technology and Flexible Displays. This report shows the trend of research and development in OLEDs technology from some papers presented in the sessions of OLEDs.
