抄録

To discuss reducing the costs of extracting the logging residues for supplying to biomass power plant, we estimated the costs at Sano city, Tochigi prefecture using GIS. As a result, the minimum and average costs of Cut-To-Length system with forwarders were 7,657yen/t and 10,166yen/t, respectively while those costs of whole tree logging system were 2,203yen/t and 6,832yen/t, respectively. Therefore, the whole tree logging system is more advantageous for extracting the logging residues than the Cut-To-Length system.
