- 0904 MTV Measurement of a Supersonic Freejet Using Phosphorescence Emitted from Acetone Molecules
抄録
The molecular tagging velocimetry (MTV) is applied to a supersonic freejet produced by a 6-mm-diameter orifice. This velocimetry uses the forth harmonic of the Nd :YAG laser (266nm) as a light source, and the target gas is dry nitrogen with acetone as a seeding material. The velocity distribution measured by the present velocimetry is found to agree reasonably with that calculated by the numerical flow simulation.
