抄録

This paper discusses the usefulness of business ethics study from the perspective of applied ethics. The purpose is to show one of methodologies of business ethics. It indicates that it is someone from the outside world of the research that evaluate the fruit of researches. With reference to Banana to Nihonjin (1982) [Connections between the banana and Japanese], this paper tries to explain the reason how difficult it is for Japanese as consumer, even if they boycott the banana, to rarely solve the ethical problem of the banana production field in Philippines. The paper concludes that business ethics study could be of assistance to construct framework of the reasons why it is difficult for ethical problems in business to be resolved. When stakeholders in business have understood the conceptual framework, the research from the perspective of business ethics would be useful to society.
