Rubyによる大学評価情報データベースシステムの開発  [in Japanese] Development of Database System for University Evaluation using Ruby  [in Japanese]

大学評価情報データベースシステムは,大学機関別評価,学部等における自己点検,教員個人評価等,多面的な大学評価に対応した情報を収集・提供するためのシステムである.島根大学では,Ruby を用いてデータベースシステムを開発し,オープンソース・ソフトウェアとして公開した.本稿では,開発の概要と今後の展開について述べる.

University evaluation database system is a multipurpose system to collect and manage data for third-party evaluation of institution, self-check evaluation of academic staff or faculty, and so on. The system has been developed and opened to the public as an open source software system. In this article an overview of the development and the future outlook are described.
