抄録

In the packed-bed absorber and regenerator of the liquid desiccant system, the air is dehumidified or humidified by direct contact of solution. This is very complex phenomenon because the heat, mass and momentum transfer occur simultaneously. The purpose of this study is to clarify the basic characteristics of heat and mass transfer and pressure drop in the packed-bed absorber and regenerator of the liquid desiccant system. Under the two type medias with different structure, effects of the solution flow rate and the air velocity on the heat and mass transfer characteristics and pressure drop are investigated empirically. As a result, effects of the solution flow rate and the air velocity on the overall heat and mass transfer coefficients were clarified. And It was verified that pressure drop is different by the structure of media.
