Abstract

Aiming to obtain the fundamental knowledge, which is essential to discuss the applicability of new liquid fuels to gas-turbine, the behavior of hollow-cone spray of palm methyl ester (PME) was investigated within the wide range of ambient gas pressure and liquid flow-rate. The results were compared with those of water and Diesel fuel.
