Abstract
火力発電には化石燃料の大量消費、原子力発電には安全性の問題など、現在の発電方式は様々な問題がある。そこで、クリーンエネルギーとして色素増感太陽電池が注目されている。色素増感太陽電池は、製造コストが低いという長所がある一方、増感色素として希少元素であるルテニウムを含むルテニウム錯体色素が使用されているという短所がある。そこで、本研究では、天然色素で安価である茄子及び黒豆色素を用いて色素増感太陽電池を作製し、その特性を調べた。その結果、茄子色素を用いた場合、0.64%の変換効率が、黒豆色素を用いた場合は0.65%の変換効率が得られた。
Concerning today's main power generations, there are various problems. For examples, thermal power generation consumes a large amount of fossil fuels, and nuclear power generation is not safe. Therefore, dye-sensitized solar cells are expected as future clean energy. They can be made with cheap costs. However, most of the researchers use Ruthenium complex as dye, which is very expensive. Therefore, we used eggplant and black soybean as dyes which are natural dyes and cheap. We have fabricated dye-sensitized solar cells, and examined their characteristics. As a result, we achieved a conversion efficiency of 0.64% with eggplant's dye, and in the case of black soybean's dye the conversion efficiency became 0.65 %.
