Abstract

インタラクティブ音声・ビデオIP通信において,作業内容とピクチャパターンがQoEに及ぼす影響を,SD法により多次元的に評価する.用いた形容詞対は,ビデオ品質,インタラクティブ性,心理的要因,満足度に関するものである.音声とビデオが利用できる帯域幅を一定にし,ビデオ符号化ビットレート,ピクチャパターン,プレイアウトバッファリング時間を種々の値に設定して,主観評価実験を行った.作業はビデオの画質を重視するものを2種類考案した.一方は動きの大きな作業であり,他方は動きの小さな作業である.実験の結果,動きの大きな作業では画質がQoEに及ぼす影響は小さく,動きの小さな作業では影響は大きいことが分かった.また,満足度に大きな影響を及ぼす形容詞対は,心理的なものとやり取りの自然さであることを確認した.動きの大きな作業の効率も定量的に評価し,効率はインタラクティブ性と相関が高いことも示した.

This report assesses the effect of task types and picture patterns on QoE in interactive audiovisual IP communications in a multidimensional way by the SD method. The SD method uses pairs of adjectives representing video quality, interactivity, psychological factors, and satisfaction. Under the condition that the guaranteed bandwidth for audio and video is constant, we assessed QoE by subjective assessment for various values of video encoding bit-rates, picture patterns, and playout buffering time. We designed two tasks whose image quality is important; one is a task with large movement, while the other is a task with small movement. From the experimental results, we found that the effect of the image quality on QoE in the task with small movement is more than that in the task with large movement. We also noticed that the satisfaction is affected largely by the psychological factors and naturalness of interaction . We then evaluated the efficiency of the task with large movement and found that it has high correlation with the interactivity.
