Numerical investigations have been carried out to clarify the correlation with pressure gradient and laminar-to-turbulent transition in compressive boundary layer on axisymmetric bodies at incidence. The aim is to create new simple criterion of transition prediction depending on the instability mechanism. Transition location was predicted on the top-line of four axisymmetric bodies with diffrerent pressure gradient, such as a Sears-Haack body, a semi-Sears-Haack body, a sharp cone and a flared cone. The Semi-Sears-Haack body and the flared cone were newly designed for this investigation. It is found out that the boundary-layer profile on the top-line of four axisymmetric bodies were different from each other according to the pressure gradient, and that there were some correlation with the boundary-layer profile and the predicted transition location.
