抄録

The vertex motion under wind wave breaking is measured by a Particle Tracking Velocimetry. In the experiment, three high-speed video camera and high-power YAG laser are used. In order to understand vortex motion under wind wave breaking, vorticity distribution is estimated by using the Moving Least square method from the velocity data obtained by a PTV. The vorticity distributions under wind wave breaking is compared with those under non-breaking wind wave. The differences of the vortex properties between breaking and non-breaking wind wave are investigated.
