本稿では，テーブルトップシステム上で使用する，光ファイバを用いた立体的な映像提示とID認識を実現する操作デバイス "Ficon" を提案する．Ficon は，ディスプレイ上に置かれてもディスプレイ面の映像を遮ることがなく，テレビ石のように底面にある映像を浮き上がらせる．形状加工により，立体的な映像提示も可能とする．光ファイバの並びにねじれを与えることで，各 ficon に固有の ID を持たせることができる．ねじれを解消するように映像を補正することで，見た目にはねじれは感じられない．We present ficon, a novel tangible input device for tabletop systems that enables image project ion on its 2.5 dimensional top surface using opt ical fiber bundle. Posit ions and IDs of ficons are t racked by using a ceiling camera above an LCD table. The bundle of opt ical fiber projects an image below the bottom surface of a ficon, so that the image on the top face of the ficon can be dynamically changed without using an overlaying projector. The shape of the top face is variable including 2.5 dimensional non-flat surface.A fiducial marker is embedded in each ficon by arranging the array of fibers. In this paper we describe the details of the implementat ion and show some applicat ion field of the proposed system.
