抄録

After 30 years history of JSFA, many new apheresis technologies were introduced. However, it is the time to generate the 2nd generation apheresis to be able to treat currently incurable disease including end-stage cardiovascular diseases, acute renal failures and malignant tumors. Apheresis technologies gave us new technologies of direct modulation of the blood. Several physical parameters such as heat, pressure, light and foreign body contacts are new type of direct modulation of the blood. Several examples of treating malignant tumors by apheresis together with treatments of end-stage cardiomyopathic patients (BIC MAC) and diabetic renal complication patients (CRARA) were described in this paper.
