抄録

This report discusses underground construction work related to groundwater in the western Chugoku region, Japan. In other words, research was undertaken in Okayama, Hiroshima and Tottori prefectures, in order to understand the phenomena caused by groundwater during underground construction. This paper describes the troubles occurred from the groundwater and how to treat them including a practical countermeasure.
