Abstract
In subcutaneous tissue of human finger, fibers exist dividing areolar connective tissue into several pieces. From light microscopic observation, we found that clusters of Pacinian corpuscles are near these fibrae. Considering this distribution, it seems that sensitivity difference occurs at the surface of the finger pad. In this paper, this effect has been confirmed by psychophysical experiment.
