抄録

Glass is used in a variety of fields, but when it is shattered there is a risk of people getting injured due to flying glass fragments. There have been many reports of harm caused by shattered glass fragments. The method of layer a shatterproof film on glass is effective because it is low cost and shatterproof, but the possibility of it being shattered by thermal fracture has not yet been much examined. In this present study, the process of thermal fracture of a glass layer with shatterproof film is shot with a high-speed camera, and the effect of the shatterproof film is validated.
