This study is a survey of the teachers in home / hospital-bound special education in Kumamoto Prefecture. Twenty teachers responded, the justification data were 24 students in charge. Home / hospital-bound special education in Kumamoto Prefecture has been devised for teaching children with profound and multiple disabilities and specially concentrated health care needs. Current educational issues of those children with severe multiple disabilities are research and development how to arrange best choice and how to develop best communication.
