Abstract
Poly lactic acid is well-known to superior biodegradable material and has been interested for many applications such as extraction-tree surgical materials. However, the biodegradation induces acid products which cause pH decrease and then the decrease may lead to inflammation in local area of diseased area. In this study, we investigated hydrolysis behaviors of three types of poly lactic acid and compared the influence of their component. The hydrolysis behavior in PBS depended on their polymerization degrees and was accelerated by containing of copolymerized glycolic acid.
