The concept of a region is exists in our consciousness. As such, and considering the current regional collapse phenomenon, it is necessary to develop new regional succession theories that appeal to our consciousness. This paper proposes the possibility of developing more complete regional succession theories by combining knowledge from the fields of genetics and brain science with traditional physical and economic methods. Specifically, the concepts of "body plan" and "immune treatment" techniques from genetics, and "art therapy", "psychological first aid" and "reminiscence therapy" adapted from psychotherapy may suggest new avenues for the development of regional succession theories.
