抄録

In this report, we propose the simply shape measurement method on a hanging shape in the educational area. The method uses chain as alternate of string, and clips as alternates of pellets. The spreadsheet is used to deduce the three dimensional coordinate data of a hanging shape. Then we assess the value of a measured shape by finite element method. As a result, we have to change the original measured shape to the symmetrical shape by our engineering judges to make a proper suspension structure. And we have to consider the shape of the distributed load, but not to consider the weight of arch against the distributed load.
