Abstract
Common use of videos/DVDs at home affects language teaching. Movies provide both situational and interactional authenticity.Because of this, they can be attractive materials for learners. My interest here is how effectively I can use movies for the target learners. Using movies in my language classroom is meaningful from some points of view. However, there are some problems I should not overlook. It is up to us language teachers whether or not we can make effective use of movies. It is necessary to consider what kinds of tasks are appropriate for the students.
