抄録

This paper proposes an electronic version of coarse integral volumetric imaging (CIVI) display. In CIVI transparent multilayered panels are used in the coarse integral imaging display, which is a variation of integral imaging/photography where large lenses are used for the fly's lens sheet. To realize CIVI electronically, the authors propose combinatory use of a color panel and multiple monochrome panels to emulate color volumetric display. With the prototype system it is confirmed that the proposed emulation can attain the same 3D image effect as the conventional CIVI.
