抄録

This paper proposes a method to expand viewing angle of coarse integral volumetric imaging (CII) display. In the conventional CII, a variation of integral imaging with coarse fly's eye lens sheet, aberration becomes severe as the viewing angle becomes larger. To attain large viewing angle with little aberration the authors propose a new display system where smaller CII display components are connected so that each display plane faces toward the center of the real/virtual image.
