Abstract

A plant factory is the facility to achieve a scheduled and year-round plant production by controlling the growing environment: temperature, humidity, carbon dioxide, nutrient solution, even illumination with artificial light. Meanwhile. well learned engineer with a background in wide ranging area is required tooperate this high-performance cultivation, Yamaguchi University has provided the working people concemed training program for Plant Factory management engineer from 2009. In this paper the outline of this program is introduced and the present situation of a plant factory is described.
