抄録

Ionic liquid is a kind of salt as a liquid even at room temperature. Because of their unique properties such as fluidity, high ionic conductivity and negligible vapor pressure, they have been attention for widely applications even under vacuum conditions. In this study, we investigated the ionic liquid for SEM pretreatment of several biomaterials. With regard to IL coating on the sample surface, we succeeded in high-quality observation of biomaterials. In addition, we also succeeded in applying the IL preparation to SEM-EDS measurement. These results suggested that this simple and rapid conductivity preparation for SEM observation.
