Abstract
The purpose of this study was to clarify the effect of the application of light-cured glazing agents for the heat-cured denture base acrylic resin. Two denture base acrylic resins and five light-cured glazing agents were adopted. Surface roughness, contact angle for water, gloss, color difference, wear resistance and shear bond strength were measured. In addition to these test, tarnish test, water absorption test and accelerated durability test were also performed. It was recognized that light-cured glazing agents improve surface roughness and wear resistance of the heat-cured denture base acrylic resin.
