抄録

In the previous research, the medicine chest having alarm function for lack of medicine administration was developed in order to assist support staffs in private residential home with care. We attempted to improve this medicine chest by adopting the opinions of the care staffs. More accurate detection of the medicine was successfully achieved due to use of LEDs with wider directivity of 60 degrees and using infrared detectors which have tolerance to the optical noise. Additionally, the each room of the medicine chest can detect even a single tablet by installing of slope boards. We will request the care staffs to evaluate this medicine chest.
