抄録

In this note I have made a description about the '9.11 riot' at Ambon, based on articles of newspapers and my fieldwork. At the first half of 2011 inhabitants of Ambon believed that the conflict had completely finished. But at 11 Sept. 2011 so-called 9.11riot happened, the people had lost their belief. At that day they were confused by rumors, and suspected each other. Some few of them attack each other, accordingly 7 victims dead. I believe that a few provocateurs provoked inhabitant's indignation each other. They used SNS to spread false rumors. In the other side, there are 'the peace provocateurs' who use SNS, too. They spread true information against false rumors. The '9.11 riot' exposures trauma of the people from the conflict and mutual distrust between Muslim and Christian, but in other side new peace keepers emergent. So-called the peace provocateurs have been making a new method for peacekeeping in the confusion of'9.11 riot'. I think that they are the fruits of the peace movement for finishing the religious conflict from 1999 to 2002.
