抄録

Effects of occlusal force on wear of a dental synthetic resin for crown and bridge, and a porcelain antagonist were evaluated using a rising wear curve with occlusal cycle, which was fitted by a power function (y=ax^b). Wear curve of the synthetic resin rose rapidly with occlusal force from 20N to 40N. However no clear difference of wear was shown between 40N and 60N. The result suggested that effect of occlusal force had a limit on wear of the synthetic resin. Inverse effect of occlusal force was observed on wear of the dental porcelain antagonist.
