抄録

The purpose of this study was to produce Ca2_SiO_4 from used dental material via waste recycling. A fired alginate impression gel and used chalks were milled with suitable ratio. As a control, CaCO_3 reagent and commercial SiO_2 were also prepared. These mixtures were examined by TG-DTA, compressive test and/or XRD before and after firing at 850℃ or 1000℃. Although CaCO_3 was decomposed by heating at 850℃, the production of Ca_2SiO_4 was little. After heating at 1000℃, Ca_2SiO_4 were strongly detected from both mixtures. These data suggested that Ca_2SiO_4 produced effectively from wastes by firing at 1000℃.
