目的:学生が学習活動の促進につながったと知覚する実習記録への教員の「記述によるフィードバック」の内容を明らかにし,その特徴を考察する.方法:全国の看護基礎教育課程に在籍する学生1,274名を対象に,質問紙を直接配布し,個別投函により回収した.517名(回収率40.6%)より回答を得,フィードバックの内容を問う自由回答式質問に回答した375名の記述を,Berelson, B.の方法論を参考にした看護教育学における内容分析を用い分析した.結果:【学習成果を認める】【根拠に基づいて援助を計画・実施するよう促す】を含む32カテゴリを明らかにした.結論:学生が学習活動の促進につながったと知覚する実習記録への教員の「記述によるフィードバック」の内容は,32種類あることを明らかにした.また,それらの内容は,《看護過程展開の促進》《学生が実施する援助の質保障》など教員の意図を表す8つの特徴を示した.

Objectives : The purpose of this study was to clarify nursing students' perceptions of nursing faculty's feedback on written assignments that students themselves recognized to be useful in promoting their learning activities. Methods : A questionnaire was administered to 1274 students who were taking basic nursing education courses in Japan and who provided consent to participate in the research. The questionnaire forms were given to each student in person and were collected via postal mail. The questionnaire included a "free answer" question on which respondents were asked about their perception of feedback from faculty members. Responses were received from 517 students (40.6% response rate) and the descriptions of feedback content by 375 students were analyzed with a content analysis method based on Berelson's methodology used in nursing education. Results : Nursing students' perceptions of nursing faculty's feedback on written assignments was classified into 32 categories, including "accepting the learning outcome" and "encouraging development of a plan and execution of assistance based on evidence". Conclusion : Nursing students' perceptions of nursing faculty's feedback on written assignments that students recognized as promoting their learning activities could be divided into 32 items of contents. Moreover, these categories had 8 features, including "promotion of deployment of nursing process" and "guarantees the quality of assistance offered by the student".
