抄録

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the snowfall depth causing the collapse of the two types of wooden houses with tenon connections by applying the method that the authors proposed. The experimental study of the full scale tenon connections was carried out in order to evaluate their rigidity for the elastic buckling analysis. Parametric analytical study on connection rigidity, snowfall load distribution, wall location and wall length was done to investigate the buckling mode type and its relevant snowfall load bearing capacity of structural house models. Based on the results of the parametric study, the collapse snowfall depth of the wooden houses was estimated.
