抄録

総合大会と同時開催されるIEICE海外セクション代表者会議には、海外セクション創設以来毎年世界の全セクション代表者が参集してきています。このセッションは、このような貴重な機会を利用し、地域のCOEを代表する立場で、各セクション代表者から、それぞれの地域における情報通信技術の研究開発状況と、これに関連した各海外セクションの活動状況を紹介して頂き、若手研究者や留学生を初め極力多くの大会参加者に海外セクションの存在意義を理解して頂く場を提供します。
All of IEICE Overseas Section Representatives have joined the Section Representatives Meeting simultaneously held with annual IEICE General Conference so far since the commencement of Overseas Sections. This Session provides a forum for as many general Conference participants as possible, including younger researchers and scholars to better understand the raison d'etre of Overseas Sections, through the introduction of current regional R&D status in ICT and relevant academic activities of each Overseas Section given by the Representative, on the valuable occasion of the Section Representatives Meeting.
