- S161011 Noise reduction for FES power assist using EMG
抄録
In FES power assist, FES is controlled according to detected EMG, and voluntary movement of paralyzed muscle is achieved again. However, there is a problem to detect EMG with electrical stimulation noises because electrodes for electrical stimulation and EMG are respectively placed on the same muscle. In the conventional mask method, the detected signal is muted when the electrical stimulation is superimposed. However, it is difficult to shorten the muting time in the mask method for high-frequency FES. We propose a comb filter to reduce only the electrical stimulation noises superimposed on high-frequency power assist system. To indicate the effectiveness of the comb filter, 80 [Hz] was applied in the FES system. We verified that comb filter was effective even for high frequencies FES system.
