抄録

The aim of this study is to evaluate the indoor environmental conditions based on measuring data of odor intensities and odor characters in a nursing home. Room temperature, relative humidity, amount of dust, carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide were lower than thresholds level. The electronic nose was used for odor analysis. Similarity indices to the standard gases were analogous to hydrogen sulfide and ammonia all of the measurement points. On the other hand, propionic acid and methyl mercaptan were strongly detected by smell representation to the standard gases. Similarity indices to standard gases were different behavior against strength of smell representation to the standard gases.
