抄録

Investigation of combustion instability in a staging fuel combustor was conducted by measuring phase-resolved OH^* chemiluminescence images. Two strong heat release regions, convective and immovable regions, were extracted from these images. Centroid positions of the convective regions and the sum of intensity for both regions were calculated. The centroid movement in convective region was along a line, and the fluctuations of intensity in both regions were almost in-phase to the fluctuation of pressure. Then the intensity profiles along the line were observed. By the result, two fluctuation modes were found. First mode is located stationary near the nozzle. Second mode has convective characteristic.
