The purpose of the study was to evaluate the visual fatigue and work performance of solar-cell inspectors in specific lightning condition. The efficiency of the output would be influenced by the quality of the solar-cell .Additionally, the illumination and correlated color temperatures (CCTs) also could influence visual fatigue and performance for the workers in working space. In this study combined two types of lighting illuminations (750 lx and 3000 lx) and two CCTs (3000K and 5500K) to set up the lighting of working areas. Six participants were recruited as the solar-cell inspectors to work one hour. The participants' physiological responses which including Critical Fusion Frequency, Heart Rate, Galvanic Skin Responses, Skin Temperature and subjective questionnaires would be collected as the evaluations. Results showed working performances of the inspectors would be affected by different levels of illumination and CCT which would accompany by the influences of physiology in the assessment and hide the potential possibilities behind visual fatigue to the solar-cell inspectors simultaneously. The findings of the study will expect to provide a contribution for the lighting design of a good interior factory which could not only increase the working performance but also decrease the fatigue during working.
