The purpose of this paper is to propose measurement error reduction method by comparing cross-section image of the vessel. In emergency medical care, it is important to keep measuring blood flow volume for a patient. There is, however, no method to measure that non-invasively. In this study, therefore, we aim at construct blood flow volume measurement system by using ultrasound (US) imaging device. In order to measure that, there are some technical problems. In this paper, we focus on detecting the angle between blood flow direction and US beam based on comparing cross-section image of the vessel. The results present the first experimental validation of the proposed method.
