- 801 Study on the new surgical assist technology for the connecting ventricular assist device
抄録
There are sometimes gaps which is brought the risk to suffer from an infectious disease, between cannula and cuff after ventricular assist system setting. We have proposed a new inflow cannula of ventricular assist device with the integrated low-level energies, heat and pressure, self-adhesion function. In this paper evaluated a new device by the adhesion performance, the adhesive strength of cannula to porcine heart and the degree of damages to the adhered cardiac muscle. The average adhesive strength was axially 0.072 MPa. The prototype inflow cannula adhered to porcine heart with the adhesion condition, temperature is 100 degrees C, adhesion time is 120 seconds and pressure is -0.099MPa within prototype inflow cannula. The results demonstrated that novel technique found adhesive strength very powerful with minimize damage to the cardiac muscle tissue.
