Abstract

「特定保健用食品」とは,特定の保健の目的が期待できることが認められた食品である.「特定保健用食品」の効果・効用について,健康な女性に対して表示内容について一定の効果が認められるかどうかを調査することを目的とした.健康な女性5 名(BMI:21.56±1.81 kg/m2 ) を対象として,おなかの調子を整える食品として「ヤクルト400」を,血中中性脂肪と体脂肪が気になる方の食品としてクロロゲン酸含有「ヘルシアコーヒー」を,血糖値が気になり始めた方の食品としてβ-グルカン含有「大麦ごはん」を摂取させた.その結果,「ヤクルト400」による便秘改善効果および「ヘルシア」による体脂肪減少効果は認められたが,大麦β-グルカンによるセカンドミール効果は認められなかった.「特定保健用食品」は境界型のヒトに最適で,BMI 25.0 kg/m2 以上の肥満者や24.0〜25.0 kg/m2 の境界型が対象者に含まれていなかったため,効果が認められなかったと考えられる.

"Food for Specified Health Uses" are food that is recognized to expect to achieve specified health aims. The objective was to study whether is recognized to display the any effects and benefits of "Food for Specified Health Uses" to young females. Five healthy females (BMI: 21.56 ±1.81 kg/m2) were subjects. They ingested "Yakult 400" as a food to improve the condition of their bellies, "Healthya Coffee" containing chlorogenic acid as a food for people concerned about blood neutral fat and body fat, and "Barley Rice" containing β-glucan as a food for people who began to worry about blood glucose levels. As a result, "Yakult 400" was found to have constipation improvement benefits, and "Healthya Coffee" was found to have body fat reduction benefits, but barley rice β-glucan was not found to have second meal benefits. "Foods for Specified Health Uses" are optimal for boundary type people, but the subjects did not include overweight people with BMI of 25.0 kg/m2 nor boundary types with BMI of 24.0 to 25.0 kg/m2, which may be why benefits were not found.
