抄録

We investigated the relationship between covering state of gold-deposited titanium and alkanethiol binding based on surface properties. The contact angle of the gold-deposited titanium decreased with increase of gold coverage, therefore, the increment of gold contributed to the improvement of wettability. After immersion in alkanethiol solution, the contact angle decreased with the increase of gold coverage, and the improvement of wettability was accelerated beyond the gold coverage of 80%.
