This investigation is to develop the powder-liquid mixed type high performance resin composed of Poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) powder and methyl methacrylate (MMA) liquid. The flexural properties of thermo-polymerized PMMA/MMA based resin were improved by adding trimethylolpropane trimethacrylate (TMPTMA) to the MMA liquid part, and the flexural strength was almost equal to that of commercial dental composite resin. The addition of TMPTMA to the MMA liquid part was useful for the mechanical properties improvement.
