抄録

The effect of pretreatment of oil on the performance of methane fermentation process was studied. The oil was treated by the aerobic activated sludge process and was dissolved. This pretreated oil was treated by methane fermentation in an anaerobic sludge blanket reactor. The organic loading rate of the pretreated oil was increased gradually as fermentation proceeded. The reactor kept producing methane efficiently until the loading amount of the pretreated oil exceeded 80% of the total loading material. The results show that pretreatment oil by the aerobic activated sludge was effective for methane fermentation process.
